“Cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had at the Desmond. We stayed for 3 nights for my daughter's wedding, which was completely handled by the Desmond. Although we were a bit nervous when we heard that there were so many events happening that weekend, the air of excitement was elevated with everyone around, and the efficiency with which the staff changed over event rooms were a true mark of their professionalism. The food was outstanding, the staff were extremely attentive and fit right into the joyous occasion! Highly, highly recommend the Desmond for any events.

“We just had our wedding here this past weekend and I don’t even have the right words to describe how perfect everything was. It was truly a one-stop shop for everything. From the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner Friday, to the big day including the wonderful bridal suite for me and my girls, and finally that BRUNCH on Sunday – I couldn’t have asked for more. The staff are so attentive and accommodating. They allowed my entire bridal party to check in early on Saturday morning, answered any last minute questions or requests I had, and were just so friendly to all my guests. The entire planning process with Karen was a breeze, too. I really enjoyed working with her and she made it so easy. She even saved the day and helped when we couldn’t figure out my dress bustle. All my guests raved about the food (which was very important to me) and couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful everything went. I couldn’t be happier with how my special day turned out. I’m so thankful for all the staff at The Desmond for how wonderful they were all weekend, it truly made a difference!

“We held a corporate sales event at the Desmond for 65 people. The guest rooms, meeting facilities, food and staff were top notch. We also did the culinary teambuilding offered by the Desmond and highly recommend it. Our entire team agreed that this was our best event ever! Huge thanks to the team at the Desmond.

“We had our wedding room block, rehearsal dinner, bridal ready room and after party at the Desmond and it was a beyond wonderful experience!! Our guests were so happy with the facilities, staff, and their stays - we got so many compliments! It truly is a 1-stop shop for weddings - everything was executed wonderfully and the staff was incredible!! We had an issue with the AC in our bridal ready room and it was corrected within less than 30 minutes and the staff made us feel so well cared for! Our room suite was large and lovely, all of the food was delicious and serving staff so kind to us and our guests. Cynthia was an absolute sweetheart to work with and made us feel taken care of throughout the whole process. She even stopped by our wedding after party to say hello! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and it’s 5-star staff. You guys are the best - thank you so much for making our wedding weekend so wonderful!!!

“My "go to" hotel when I'm in Malvern for work. The Irish bar is top notch. Not typical of what you find in a hotel bar. Highly recommend if you're in the Malvern area!

“The Desmond was absolutely wonderful! The staff are all supremely, helpful, and friendly! We upgraded to a suite and I am SO happy that we did. The suite was huge! Giant separate, living room area with fireplace and dining room table the adjacent king bedroom was spacious also. The beds are extremely comfortable and the pillows, fluffy and soft.

The bartenders and the manager of the kitchen were so very friendly and attentive. I had their crab chowder and it was fresh, flavorful and a welcomed hot dish on chilly day. I truly enjoyed my stay there and will 100% be back when I’m in the area.

“Almost every year, my family and I have been coming up here for a Thanksgiving day buffet. Very delicious food, friendly staff, good service, etc. If you've never been to a buffet with all your traditional Thanksgiving day fixings, please check this out. But be advised: this buffet *might* sell out quickly and be prepared for lots of company at the buffet

“The hotel was very nice. Staff was always spot on and kind. We spent nearly a week there so it needed to be good. Fridge could have been better and no microwave in the room was a bummer. Many of options close to hotel for food & shopping. Hotel bar & dining was very nice too. Rooms were nicely updated. Bathroom is very small (but nice). Not much can be done with the footprint. Beds were great. Temperature easy to control with nice fan option for white noise to sleep. I cannot say enough nice things. If I'm ever back in the area I'll definitely utilize this hotel again.

“Had room blocks at The Desmond for our wedding. We were so pleased with the accommodations and service! Steven was so helpful in planning our experience for our guests - he was detailed and great at communicating! The Desmond provided a shuttle for our offsite wedding and a beautiful suite for the groomsmen to get ready in. We were so happy they could be apart of our special day. “I was there for a women's retreat I live in the state of Delaware it was about a 30 minute drive. The hotel is beautiful the staff and the services that was provided was Top Notch. When I go to hotels I always look for any type of awards they received and I see they have several Awards. Try it out see what you think and then come back and respond to my review.

“The Desmond was AMAZING to work with. From the large amount of wedding room blocks we needed, to the event management for our wedding rehearsal dinner, the Desmond staff was always so accommodating, quick responding, and easy to work with. Despite some challenges at our actual wedding venue and other hotels in the area, the staff at the Desmond (Meredith and Cynthia) were always our contact to help us troubleshoot and provided us with solutions. I cannot say enough kind words about their dedication to their guests. The rehearsal dinner food, atmosphere (the deck), and bar (shoutout to Dotty) were fantastic! Thank you Desmond!

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Desmond where we had our wedding in November of 2021. From being extremely accommodating when we had to reschedule our original date due to the pandemic, to helping us with all of our details, coordinating with our vendors, and being friendly throughout the entire process. Karen and Andy were the best! They took care of everything and made us feel so special. The room was decorated SO gorgeously and our guests had a beautiful time. I will always recommend The Desmond, and will forever make this our go-to space to have events! Thank you for making our day so amazing!!

“We hosted an event with the Desmond. The team there was exceptional. From our arrival through our departure they made sure that we were taken care of. The food was exceptional, not an easy task when you are preparing for multiple large groups. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We had some very specific needs for our group and the Kevin and the entire Desmond staff worked very hard to make sure that we were taken care of.

“Where do I start? Our daughter had her wedding at the Desmond Malvern. Over and over again we were told that it was the best wedding our guests had been to. We trusted Kevin and Andy to guide our decisions and they were on point. The end result was elegant and perfect. We filled our block of rooms and all guests were welcomed warmly. So many commented that the beds were very comfortable and they wanted to take them home with them.

We started with a cocktail hour. The setting was pretty and there was an abundance of food. Guests were served quickly. I mentioned that I hadn't had a chance to try the lamb chops because I was bustling my daughter's dress. Within a minute, a full plate were delivered to our table. They were tender, perfectly seasoned and a highlight.

The bartenders were great at keeping 150 very thirsty guests in skillful cocktails. In addition, they were friendly and remembered the selections of the guests.

Dinner was perfectly cooked and served at the right temperature. Not an easy job for 150 people. Service was both personable, prompt, and attentive. True professionals. Every bite of the filet and the salmon was delicious.

We opted for the desert bar. It was huge! Everything was very tasty and served well. Cake was cut quickly and displayed with the deserts.

We then moved to an after party on the deck. The late night snack selections were just what guests needed and were looking for. The party went on until 3AM! Staff did not give up on us, but maintained their happy attentive service and were with us until the end.

After grabbing a few hours of sleep, we hosted a brunch on the deck. The food was fresh and all tasted very good. We were not rushed out and felt like we were having a second party. This was a great ending to a wonderful wedding weekend.

If you are considering The Desmond, just do it. We are very picky and we love good food. Now we love The Desmond. You will not be disappointed if you select them for your event.

“Ok, this hotel was one of THE best hotels I've ever stayed in simply because the staff was above and beyond the best staff I've ever experienced. Every single member of their team went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Can't say enough great things except the rooms were super clean, comfortable, and spacious, the bar and restaurant were excellent, and the outdoor spaces were simply beautiful. Would love an excuse to stay here again!

Our server, Collin is outstanding -- personable, professional, attentive. Desserts are superb! Just wish I had more room in my stomach ???? Altogether a most delightful visit. “Very nice hotel. We had a conference here with about 100 attendees for 2 days. The food they provided was very good. The rooms were nice, the bed was very comfortable. I have been to many of these types of events over the years. This was hands down the best facility that I have ever been to for an event like this.
